Steel Pipe Cleaning and Maintenance

Water Cleaning
Water cleaning involves rinsing the inner surface of steel pipes with clean water. This method is simple and inexpensive, but the Maigou.com editor cautions that this method is not very effective, as clean water cannot completely remove impurities such as calcium and magnesium scale, biological slime, and other impurities on the inner surface of the steel pipe.

Chemical Cleaning
Chemical cleaning involves adding chemical reagents to water and then cleaning the steel pipe. This method can effectively remove calcium and magnesium scale from the inner surface of the steel pipe, but it can shorten the service life of the steel pipe, so it should be used with caution.

Physical Cleaning
This method uses compressed air as a power source. A specially designed projectile, larger than the inner diameter of the pipe, is fired into the steel pipe from a launcher. The projectile travels at high speed along the inner surface of the pipe, causing it to rub against the inner surface, effectively cleaning the pipe. This method is highly effective and virtually harmless to the pipe, making it a widely used cleaning method.
